Hello!! We are very excited about our new curriculum here at Sycamore Run. For the month of September we are focusing on ourselves and getting to know our classroom. I have a very small group of girls who have all transitioned from the downstairs toddler room. They are exploring the classroom and enjoying all the activities the "big kids"partake in. Some of our projects have consisted of self portraits, heigth measurement,and letters falling from the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree. Along with our curriculum we also have other jobs like composting and recycling :). the girls were especially interested in the worm composting and how the worms actually make soil! by the time SPRING arrives we will have beautiful rich soil for our gardens.
